Boston, MA (July 20, 2021) – Commodore Builders is pleased to announce that Andy Timofeev has been named Director of Business Development for the Life Sciences Group. Commodore Builders is a veteran-owned construction management firm based in Boston.

In his position, he will work closely with Vice President, Project Executive Life Sciences Jason Theberge to develop and explore new business opportunities for the Life Sciences Group. Timofeev brings nearly 20 years of experience to this new position.

“When Jason - whom I’ve known for over ten years - described the opportunity at Commodore Builders, I knew that my knowledge of the Life Sciences sector and experience in business development could be a great fit,” said Timofeev. “During the interview process, I sensed that the leadership at Commodore had a genuine interest in how my ability to bring the owner’s perspective to the table could advance the company’s overall plan for the future, and I’m excited to do just that.”

Prior to joining Commodore Builders, Timofeev most recently worked for Process Design Solutions (PDS), a biotech engineering consulting firm based in Waltham, where for seven years he was responsible for business development, marketing, account management and recruiting. Before that, he worked at Takeda Engineering Group for six years as part of the team that built out the lab and cGMP facilities on its Lexington campus. After graduating from Boston University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Timofeev’s first professional experience was with Pfizer, where he spent six years taking on increasingly responsible roles in engineering and project engineering groups.

“We are pleased to add Andy to our rapidly-expanding Business Development team and believe that with his experience and expertise, he will make an immediate impact on our Life Sciences Group,” said Joe Albanese, CEO, Commodore Builders. “I look forward to working closely with Andy and can’t wait to see how our Life Sciences Group evolves and expands as he gets comfortable in his new position.”

A native of Stoneham, Timofeev currently resides in Westwood with his wife Paula and their two daughters, Sophia and Juliana.
