Fresh from competition in Milan, Italy, Olympian gold medalist and 2026 Olympic competitor Alysa Liu will grace the local stage at Norwood’s The Skating Club of Boston on February 28th and March 1st, along with fellow 2026 Olympians Max Naumav, Emily Chan and Spence Howe, and Aleksandr Selevko in Ice Chips 2026: A World Journey.
Ice Chips headliner Alysa Liu is currently World Champion and a favorite to win the individual gold at the 2026 Winter Games. The U.S. won the team gold on February 8th. This will be Liu’s first appearance in the United States after the games conclude. At age 13, Liu was the youngest skater to win the title of national champion.
Ice Chips 2026: A World Journey, is The Skating Club of Boston’s annual fundraiser. It will be performed for three shows, on Saturday, February 28th at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm and one show on Sunday, March 1st at 1:00 pm at the Tenley E. Albright Performance Center at The Skating Club of Boston in Norwood, MA.
The performance will also showcase a cast of local, national and international competitors, including Jamie Biermer, 8, Joanna Chiang, 10, Lucas Li, 9, Kaitlyn Lopes, 13, Samuel Lu, 6, Emily Nguyen, 10, Margaret Sun, 11, Howard Wang, 10, and Maia Zhukova, 9, from Westwood.
Senior performers will include Olympian and 2026 U.S. bronze medalist, Max Naumov; Olympians and 2026 U.S. pewter medalists, Emily Chan and Spencer Howe; Olympian and 2026 European silver medalist Aleksandr Selevko; two-time U.S. pairs champions, Alisa Efimova and Misha Mitrofanov; and 2025 Four Continents bronze medalist, Jimmy Ma. Other performers include the 31-time U.S. Synchronized Skating Champions Haydenettes and 2026 U.S. junior pairs silver medalists Sofia Jarmoc and Luke Witkowski.
“To bring Alysa Liu to the Boston area right after the 2026 Winter Games is a thrill for our local skating fans,” said Doug Zeghibe, CEO and Executive Director of The Skating Club of Boston. “This annual benefit is a great opportunity for skating enthusiasts of every age to see Alysa and other world-class skaters perform up close and personal in the intimacy and comfort of the Tenley E. Albright Performance Center.”
