On Monday, December 13, 2021, in Dedham, Norfolk County Sheriff Patrick McDermott announced that his office recently swore in a new class of sixteen corrections officers at a graduation ceremony at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. Four officers were also promoted to the rank of Captain and seven officers were promoted to the rank of Lieutenant at the ceremony.
The new corrections officers who have joined the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office are Nathan Carroll, Guerby Cenatus, David Lopez, Ryan McLaughlin, Stevie Orton, Timothy Reilly, Conor Riggle, Saeed Saadat, Scott Strachan, Matthew Sugrue, Anthony Ticse, Andrew Treannie, Damron Yancey, Antoine Yazbeck, and Robert Zarthar.
“As Sheriff, I want to make sure that the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office has the highest caliber men and women working on my staff,” said Sheriff McDermott. “These new officers will join a team of highly-trained and hardworking corrections professionals, and I am incredibly proud of how hard they have worked to get here. I am also very proud to be able to recognize our new Captains and Lieutenants, who have demonstrated their commitment to our mission of public safety at the NCSO.”
The officers promoted to Captain include Stephen Linskey, Robert Russo, Jr., Kelly Cosgrave, and John Kilrain, Jr.

Eric Hense gifted the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office with four sensory kits that help first responders when responding to people with autism.
