Lynne Viti, Ph.D served as Westwood’s inaugural Poet Laureate from 2023-2025. A faculty emerita in the Writing Program at Wellesley College, she is the author of five books, including most recently, The Walk to Cefalu (Cornerstone Press, 2022). A graduate of Boston College Law School, she practiced law for twenty years, both in the public sector and at a Boston firm.She serves on the advisory board of the New England Poetry and directs a poetry workshop at the Westwood Library.
