Enjoy a few s'mores at 7 PM before heading out on a short, family-friendly hike around South Beach at 7:45 PM. Together, we'll look for Hale's crepuscular critters, the animals that come out at dawn and dusk, including deer, rabbits, raccoons, opossums, and foxes. $10 per car. 7–9 PM. Westwood. Free. Sunny, with a high of 77 and low of 65 degrees. Sunny for the morning, light drizzle in the afternoon, patchy rain nearby for the evening, clear overnight.
We used to spray our lawn with a company that said they used non-toxic chemicals. The loss of bees, frogs, pollinators and birds in our garden was dramatic.
Great topic! I'd love to see more from the environmental action committee on encouraging less use of pesticides/weed killers/fertilizers in town.
