Needham Community Theatre is excited to partner with Needham Diversity Initiative to present a live reading of the new play, If the Walls Could Talk, which tells the fascinating story of Mystery Manor and the founder of the National Negro Opera Company in Pittsburgh.
In a story inspired by the Songs For Mary soundtrack, rapper MB Rhymes discovers the lost story of Mystery Manor and Mary Cardwell Dawson, founder of The National Negro Opera Company. Each song he writes tells the story of the humanitarian efforts made by each celebrity who spent time at Mystery Manor.
The reading will be presented on February 2nd at 7:00 p.m. at Powers Hall, Needham Town Hall, Needham.
The live reading will be presented by a talented cast made up of NCT actors and others from the area.
