What To Do around Westwood this Weekend: Friday, Aug 19 - Sunday, Aug 21, 2022 (Updated)

This weekend offers an opportunity to squeeze in another summer fair before the start of school. Take your pick - there's the Marshfield Fair on Friday, Ice Cream Festival and Summer Safety Fest on Saturday, and the August Moon Festival on Sunday.Â
Looking for a smaller venue for the littlest ones? Join Shalom Corner Early Learning Center for sing-alongs and dancing on Friday morning.
If this weekend takes you shopping, do some good by donating to a back-to-school donation drive for Wheels of Massachusetts.
And Steven Spielberg fans won't want to miss celebrating the re-release of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, on the film's 40th annivesary, at Boston Common's IMAX theater.
