It's finally November 8, 2022 and State Election Day voting is here! Because it seems like a lot of readers have questions about voting today, Westwood Minute has put together a quick recap of how to make sure they get to exercise their right to vote!

Voting In Person at Polling Location: All Westwood registered voters who are voting in-person on Election Day can vote at Westwood High School at 200 Nahatan Street. The polling location closes at 8:00 p.m. Additionally, if residents who received mailed ballots from the Town Clerk’s Office do not use them, and the state hasn’t recorded their vote as having already been cast, residents can still vote in-person at Westwood High School on Election Day by requesting a ballot from the polling location.

Voting by Dropping Off Your Ballot: Residents can continue to drop off vote-by-mail ballots to the Town Clerk on State Election Day and the Westwood Police Station drop box until 8:00 p.m. on November 8th. To help with the volume of ballots to be processed, Town Clerk Dottie Powers requests vote-by-mail ballots be returned as early as possible.

Voting by Mail:  Ballots must be postmarked by 8:00 p.m. on State Election Day and received by the Town Clerk's Office by 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022.
