The Westwood Cultural Council has announced the availability of grants to individuals and organizations for funding local community cultural programs, with a deadline to apply from now through October 17, 2023.

Applications may be submitted online. Eligible projects include workshops, lectures, exhibitions, science education and performing arts projects.

Grants will be evaluated based on the benefit to the community, qualifications of the individuals and organizations, the planning process, community interest and population segment served.

The Westwood Cultural Council is part of a grass roots network of over 300 local councils that serve every city and town in the state. The state legislature provides an annual appropriation to the Massachusetts Cultural Council which then allocates funds to each local council.
For more information visit the Massachusetts Cultural Council website at www.mass-culture.org.
