Students and staff of Westwood Public Schools returned to their classrooms on Wednesday, August 28th, the first day of the new, 2024-25 academic year. Superintendent Timothy Piwowar continued his tradition of visiting every school in the district on the first day, announced the school district this week. Mr. Piwowar visited as many classrooms as possible to welcome students back.

Patchy rain nearby, with a high of 84 and low of 53 degrees. Sunny for the morning, mist in the afternoon and evening, clear overnight.
The Townwide cleanup is wonderful. Unfortunately none of the
Westwood Conservation areas are included.
