All events this weekend in our calendar are hyperlocal to Westwood!
On Sunday, Kids and families have a performance by Stacy Peasley to look forward to at the Sheehan School, where there will be games, a raffle, and auction as part of fundraising to revive the community playground.
For more music, head to Westwood Main Library for History and Legends through Song, a live performance that is free and open to the public.
On Saturday, Hale Education hosts the Everwild women's mountain biking event, Daughters of the American Revolution hold a yard sale to support funding award recognition of local youth, and the library hosts a screening of the first in a series of movies to celebrate May as Asian American and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month.

Everwild creates a space for women of all skills and abilities to advance in mountain biking and build community through wellness. Skill clinics and workshops cover essentials, fundamentals, nutrition, bike mechanics, and advanced skills. There are also overnight camping options. [more details]
Barlow Lane
The Aaron Guild Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will be holding its 21st Annual Garage/Estate Sale from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Barlow Lane in Westwood (the first house on the right on Barlow Lane, just off Route 109). This is the rescheduled event date after an earlier cancellation for rain. [more details]

For the first three Saturdays in May, Westwood Public Library celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month with a movie and fresh, hot popcorn. The first film in the series is The Namesake, directed by Mira Nair and based on the novel by Jhumpa Lahiri. [more details]
