Also, holiday fairs abound this weekend in Westwood, Medfield, Dedham, and Walpole - no need to go far for unique and handmade items for gift-giving inspiration! There's also a performance by carolers at University Station and a juggling show mixed with magic in Brookline!  Before heading out the door, remember to check your destination for any changes in logistics or updates.

Prepare for WCC Luminary Night - Thu Dec 4 5:00 pm

Post Office Plaza, Westwood

Pick up your Luminary Night kit in preparation for Westwood Community Chest's Luminary Night that will be held this Sunday! The kit has all you need to join neighbors in setting Westwood aglow on December 7th. Pollard's test Kitchen and Decor and More, located in the Westwood Post Office Plaza at 697 High Street, will offer free wine tasting, food, and a shopping opportunity while you pick up your $20 Luminary Night kit! Westwood Artists, the First Baptist Church of Westwood, Westwood Young Woman’s Club, BiBi Cafe and Bakery, and the Westwood Girl Scouts are coordinating plans to hold their annual December events on the same day.  The events will be within walking distance of one another on High and Nahatan Streets, where you can find local artists, crafters, food and music. From 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., set your luminaries aglow outside your property in a show of support for neighbors in need. Luminary kits can be purchased on Thursday evening (see calendar entry above), and proceeds from the $20 purchase will support Westwood Community Chest's confidential grants awarded to neighbors who need short-term financial assistance.
