Norwood Police Tweet Identities of Two Murder Suspects, Ask Public to Call 911 if Spotted

Two suspects are wanted for murder by the Norwood Police, after Mr. Shakim L. Lewis-Johnson of Hyde Park died in emergency surgery for multiple gun shot wounds sustained as he exited his friend’s home on Sturtevant Street in Norwood on Sunday, September 19, 2021. The wanted suspects are Mr. Ernest Payne of Cambridge, a 27 year-old, and Mr. Anthony Loper-Feaster of Salem, a 25 year-old.

Norwood Police Chief William Brooks took to Twitter to provide photos of the suspects. He warns the public that the suspects should not be approached. Anyone sighting these individuals should call 911. They may be driving a white, 2014 Honda Accord with New Hampshire plates 4855328.

The shooting happened shortly after 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 19, 2021.  At 5:20 p.m. Westwood Police received a request by Norwood Police for assistance.

Westwood’s K-9 officer and police dog conducted an article search on streets adjacent to the Sturtevant Street shooting location. The pair searched for solid objects that could have been dropped or discarded by the shooters. The firearm used in the shooting has not been recovered.
