Earthrise Concerto by Multiverse Concert Series Family Show (ages 5+)
Saturday, March 1 at 6:00pm
Described as the “most influential environmental photograph ever taken", the iconic Earthrise image from Apollo 8 continues to inspire and challenge us to see our earth as one interconnected, living system. Our concert celebrates this perspective through the lens of art and science with live electrosymphonic music, science presentations and immersive planetarium visuals. Together, we will explore the earth from orbit, our developing global technology, the environment, and the plight of ecosystems under threat.
Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian Resident Composer, Dr. David Ibbett and the Multiverse Soloists, perform a concert of original compositions alongside immersive planetarium visuals celebrating this perspective at the intersection of art and science. The musicians are joined by Dr. Gonzalo Abad of TEMPO Satellite, Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian.
Music by Spencer Bambrick, Daniel Lee and David Ibbett

Patchy rain nearby, with a high of 49 and low of 22 degrees. Overcast during the morning, clear during the afternoon and evening, overcast overnight.
I completely agree. Washington St. also has some terrible patches, especially the handicap ramps. I don’t understand why the DPW is responsible for clearing sidewalks in front of homes and businesses. It seems that those should be the responsibility of the property owner.
The sidewalks on High Rock and Hartford have been pretty treacherous this winter too. I didn't contact DPW about it though.
