Earthrise Concerto by Multiverse Concert Series Family Show (ages 5+)
Saturday, March 1 at 6:00pm
Described as the “most influential environmental photograph ever taken", the iconic Earthrise image from Apollo 8 continues to inspire and challenge us to see our earth as one interconnected, living system. Our concert celebrates this perspective through the lens of art and science with live electrosymphonic music, science presentations and immersive planetarium visuals. Together, we will explore the earth from orbit, our developing global technology, the environment, and the plight of ecosystems under threat.
Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian Resident Composer, Dr. David Ibbett and the Multiverse Soloists, perform a concert of original compositions alongside immersive planetarium visuals celebrating this perspective at the intersection of art and science. The musicians are joined by Dr. Gonzalo Abad of TEMPO Satellite, Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian.
Music by Spencer Bambrick, Daniel Lee and David Ibbett

Sunny, with a high of 77 and low of 65 degrees. Don't forget your umbrella! Sunny in the morning, moderate rain at times during the afternoon, mist in the evening, clear overnight.
We used to spray our lawn with a company that said they used non-toxic chemicals. The loss of bees, frogs, pollinators and birds in our garden was dramatic.
Great topic! I'd love to see more from the environmental action committee on encouraging less use of pesticides/weed killers/fertilizers in town.
what a great way to encourage people to plant native, it gives me so much pleasure to see who is visiting my plants.
Good (majority) call by the Select Board. Appropriate time to bring in outside, impartial, leadership to the Department.
