Paving Construction Begins July 5th: Clapboardtree Street/Coach Lane/Meadowbrook Road

Westwood Department of Public Works has announced the beginning of a paving project for Clapboardtree Street and its adjoining roads, Coach Lane and Meadowbrook Road, beginning Wednesday morning, July 5, 2023 and continuing through Friday, July 14th.

Drivers can expect detours. The anticipated schedule, depending on weather, is as follows:

Milling:
July 5 to July 10, from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Casting Adjustments:
July 10 to July 12, from 7 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Final Paving:
July 12 to July 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

On Clapboardtree Street, the paving project extends from near Winter Street to Xaverian Brothers High School. Clapboardtree Street will be closed in two sections: between Winter to Nahatan streets and between Nahatan to Washington streets.

The project includes milling to remove the top layer of asphalt, adjusting structures, and final paving.
