Yard Waste Disposal Option at DPW During Summer Hiatus of Curbside Collection

During the summer hiatus of curbside yard waste collection, Westwood Department of Public Works has announced that Westwood residents can bring excess yard waste to DPW for disposal at 50 Carby Street, during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from  August 26th
through September 6th, excluding the Labor Day holiday weekend of August 31st to September 2nd

Acceptable for collection at the yard waste-only dumpster are: grass clippings, leaves, weeds, and small twigs in brown compost bags only.

No rocks, stones, gravel, sand, dirt, wood, brush, or plastic bags.

Curbside collection of bagged leaves is scheduled to resume the week of September 15th.
