Did you know there is also an important local election on November 5th as well?

Candidate Drew Pepoli Here. I fully understand everyone is busy this time of year and additionally there are a lot of eyes on the national election...which can divert attention from local races here in our state/district.

So with that I am here to remind you that there is a very important local election as well that will be on the November 5th ballot. And that election will be for who will represent you as your elected State Representative (along with Dedham and Walpole P8) at the State House for the next 2 years.

While my supporters and I have spent countless hours pounding the pavement with door hangers, attending event after event...and have been prolific on social medal and text messaging, many who don't regularly focus on local politics are still unaware that our 17 year incumbent is actually facing a challenger this year, the first time since 2018.

lot of the time down ballot races (like we currently have for State Representative) can get lost in the national political discourse...however at times it's these down ballot elections that have more of a direct impact your day to day lives.

I ask that if you were unaware of this local race that will be on your ballot, that you please take the time to educate yourself on me and my opponent. No matter who you vote for, it is important to vote in all contested elections. It is important because in my opinion not casting a vote is, in essence, a passive endorsement of the incumbent.

Having a voter not know who a challenger is when they go to cast their vote, and at the same time one who does not support the incumbent, is inadvertently voting for that incumbent because individuals who challenge long term incumbents need every vote they can.

Every election presents a crucial opportunity to voice one's values and priorities.

The Administration needs to stop trying to sell the new fire station to the tax payers as if it they just suddenly became aware of the existing fire station's condition. And telling us we need it yesterday. Or selling it as if we don't, we'll be putting ourselves at risk or harm.

No need for a fitness area either. I work an 8 to 10 hour day and don't have a fitness area at home. Don't have the room. So like most, I go to a fitness center before work. They can as well.
