JOB OPENINGS: MA Virtual Job Fair Aug. 16 - Aug. 20

Job seekers can search online for jobs by attending the Massachusetts Virtual Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day from Monday, August 16, 2021 to Friday, August 20, 2021. Registration is free and attendees may attend any or all days.

Job seekers will be able to choose which businesses' online booths to visit. They can also read about the company before deciding whether to chat with an online recruiter.

Employers will be able to view resumes, see who is visiting, and engage in a live video interview or chat.

General Job Fair days of Monday and Thursday will host employers and job seekers for all participating industries.  Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday are focused on industry-specific jobs.  Here's the schedule:

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day:

Monday, August 16 - General Job Fair
Tuesday, August 17 - Manufacturing, Professional Services, Finance
Wednesday, August 18 - Healthcare, Human Services, Hospitality, Education
Thursday, August 19 - General Job Fair
Friday, August 20th - Information Technology, Building Services and Other

The event was announced by MassHire and the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development as an effort to help those who will be affected when federal pandemic-related unemployment benefits end on September 4, 2021.
