Hunger hasn't gone away. Neither can we.
That's the slogan of the annual Interfaith Mini Walk for Hunger which has been going on for over a decade. This year, participants will follow the traditional 3-mile, family-friendly route, beginning at Westwood's Temple Beth David.
Come join others with shared values and walk in solidarity to help those who are food insecure. This event is a fundraiser for Project Bread, an organization seeking to alleviate hunger in Massachusetts and which ensures that our neighbors have the food they need.
Interested in making a difference in the community? Just sign up, then show up and meet other participants at Temple Beth David at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 22nd. Register individually or as an organization (visit link or scan below QR code).
Also consider bringing non-perishable items for local food banks. They will be collected at the beginning of Walk Day.

Thank you Ms. Galkowski for this thoughtful acknowledgement of positive steps being made by our Town government. My generation loves the positive empowerment. Exemplary.
In promulgating the public comment policy, the Select Board has taken a big step towards showing willingness to engage in conversation with Westwood residents about the many important issues at hand—currently, the Fire Station 1 and the budget.
