The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will hold public hearing to educate the public, and hear comments about, a proposed design for Westwood's Reconstruction of Canton Street Project.
The project, which proposes to create a sidewalk and shared pedestrian/bicycle path while connecting points of community interest. It would require permanent or temporary easements in order to proceed.
In the event of cancellation for inclement weather, updates will be posted at https://www.mass.gov/orgs/highway-division/events.
The hearing is accessible to people with disabilities, who should make arrangements by contacting MassDOT's Chief Diversity and Civil Rights Officer at 857-368-8580 (phone), 857-266-0603 (TTD/TTY), 857-368-0262 (fax) or Mass.DOT.CivilRights@dot.state.ma.us.
