Bigfoot spotted in Westwood? Okay, not quite! But we do have John O'Connor, author of the new book "The Secret History of Bigfoot: Field Notes on a North American Monster", coming to the Westwood Public Library on Saturday, May 11 at 2 p.m.
John's book is a journalistic adventure into the wildlands of American to chronicle our enduring cultural obsession with Bigfoot. Why do we believe? What does Bigfoot tell us about our relationship with nature? Is there a Bigfoot in Western Massachusetts? John will talk about all this, read from a chapter of his book covering Squatchachusetts, and answer audience questions.
Books will be available for sale from Rozzie Bound Co-op.
Entry to the event is free. Reserving your seat ahead of time is highly recommended!
