Since it was launched into space in July 1999, NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory has changed our view of the Universe, and it is still capable of many more years of operation and scientific discovery!

Join us and Chandra X-ray Observatory at the Christa McAuliffe Center and Framingham State University Planetarium as we celebrate Chandra’s 25th Anniversary with hands-on activities, exhibits, giveaways, and a planetarium program with guest experts!

EVENT SCHEDULE

5:00PM - 6:00PM: Hands-On Activities and Exhibits

Screenings of Listen to the Universe at 5:00pm and 5:30pm

6:15PM - 7:30PM: Planetarium Program - Celebrating 25 years of the Extreme Universe with NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory and guest experts!

The Administration needs to stop trying to sell the new fire station to the tax payers as if it they just suddenly became aware of the existing fire station's condition. And telling us we need it yesterday. Or selling it as if we don't, we'll be putting ourselves at risk or harm.

No need for a fitness area either. I work an 8 to 10 hour day and don't have a fitness area at home. Don't have the room. So like most, I go to a fitness center before work. They can as well.
