Are you clinging to a broken item – for example, a lamp or piece of jewelry – that you want to keep but don’t know how to fix or get fixed? On Saturday, February 1st, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., the Westwood Environmental Action Committee will host its third Repair Café, with co-sponsors Sustainable Medfield, Medfield Transfer Station & Recycling Committee, and Dover Recycling Committee.
Show up with items you want to have repaired (e.g., bicycles, clothing, jewelry, lamps, small furniture and small appliances). A skilled volunteer will fix your item for free. You will only be financially obligated to purchase replacement parts, if needed.
Enjoy a chat with neighbors while you wait for your repair!

To the Board (or what's left of it), this continuous behavior of placating the residents is insulting.
Please don't blame Joe. Everyone knows it has always been 2 against 1 since day one of his (elected) term.
I am in complete support of the refurbishing and reopening of Norwood Hospital. I was working at Saint Elizabeth during this time. When steward took over our HOSPITAL group, Caritas Christie. They decimated not only our hospitals, but also two hospitals in the tiny nation of Malta.
Senator Rush is correct re: the ambulatory services. One only has to drive on RTE 109/Westwood to see the number of out of town ambulances going through town at all times of the day. Then they have to get to Boston or Needham.
