Westwood resident and singer/songwriter Nicolás Emden performs in his first full show as the main act at Club Passim. In 2023, he was named the New England Music Award Act of the Year.
Mr. Emden's first solo album was released in Chile in 2014, and since then, he has made a home in the Boston metro area and in Westwood and studied at Berklee College of Music.
In this acoustic band concert, Emden will play part of his full catalog along with some new songs soon to be released. He has described his genre of music as Latin American Folk Rock, with a focus on nature, Latin American culture, love, and "everyday philosophy."
Tickets are available on the Club Passim website. Take a listen to Mr. Emden's music here and here.

Sunny, with a high of 38 and low of 27 degrees. Sunny for the morning, overcast for the afternoon and evening, clear overnight.
These are great strides in addressing concerns about a lack of openness and two way dialogue raised by Westwood citizens. Thanks to the Select Board and to Mr. Read for listening and acting.
Thank you Ms. Galkowski for this thoughtful acknowledgement of positive steps being made by our Town government. My generation loves the positive empowerment. Exemplary.
In promulgating the public comment policy, the Select Board has taken a big step towards showing willingness to engage in conversation with Westwood residents about the many important issues at hand—currently, the Fire Station 1 and the budget.
