Westwood Artists’ host their seventh annual gallery show at the Westwood Public Library during the month of February.
There artists’ reception will be held on Wednesday, February 5th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the gallery. Come and meet the artists!
There are 12 artists who will display their work in the library’s beautiful, well-lit gallery that is open during library hours. This year’s participants are: watercolor painters Carol Ahearn and Elidi Chan; oil painters Maureen Obey and Helen C. Powell; acrylic painter and jeweler Cynthia Senerchia; mixed-media artist Nicole de Lisle; photographers Karen Flowers Cagan and Doug Hyde; ceramic artists Lisa WB Walker and Gunyoung Kim; felted wreath maker Betsy Husted; and quilter Zelayna Rauch.
Westwood Artists is an informal collaborative organization of makers living in Westwood, MA. Any artist or artisan residing in Westwood is encouraged to take part in the increasing number of events and projects hosted by this group.

And this attendance and participation demonstrates how strongly folks on both sides of this issue feel about it, and how a majority of voters want the Select Board to withdraw from the lawsuit. It was a far larger turnout than in annual town meetings.
