Mom is still doing all the work of feeding this baby sparrow, but this baby will soon be leaving the nest.
This hanging birdhouse has been home to many different sparrow families in my garden over the last several years. This picture was luckily taken on Saturday, May 15, 2021. The baby pictured here was one of a brood that flew the nest the very next day.
