Westwood Historical Society will present an evening of Halloween storytelling with five-time Boston/New England Emmy award-winning folklorist John Horrigan at the Fisher School in Westwood on Wednesday, October 22, at 7:00 p.m.
In the event titled, "Shadowy Origins of Halloween, Witches, and Baystate Phantoms," Horrigan will explore the truth behind the Salem Witch Trials and discuss the Bridgewater Triangle, where there have been reports of sightings of bizarre creatures, phantoms, unidentified flying objects and more.
The evening's presentation will weave tales of the supernatural, folklore, and fact in an event that is open to the public, handicap-accessible, and free of charge. Parking is available in front of Westwood's Thurston Middle School.

Your Grandfather seemed to make a go of it. And for years.
What changed?
