WPS holding a Virtual Town Forum on Proposed New School Building (Updated)

Westwood Public Schools has tweeted an announcement of a Virtual Town Forum on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 7 p.m. to "[l]earn about the Hanlon-Deerfield project and ask questions." Interested persons can register to participate. After registering, participants will be sent a confirmation email and a link to join the forum.

Superintendent of Westwood Public Schools Emily Parks described the format of the virtual town forum.  She will give a 20 to 30 minute presentation with Ms. Maya Plotkin, who chairs both the School Committee and School Building Committee.  

The presentation will highlight reasons for the project, process, design, and provide cost and estimated tax impact.

Following the presentation, attendees may ask questions.
