The Open Book Coffeehouse kicks off its eighteenth year of live music on Saturday evening, October 15, 2022 at 7:30 p.m., featuring folk duo Bookmatch. Doors open at 6:45 p.m.
Two kindred spirits, joined by their love for acoustic music that touches the heart, G Rockwell and Micah Nicol marry virtuosic instrumentals and tender vocals. Bookmatch's members approach the same genre and instruments from a different background, yielding musical alchemy that brings audiences in for a warm hug of an intertwining acoustic guitar soundscape.
Admission is $10 for the general public and $5 for students of any age. Tickets are available that evening on a first come, first serve basis. Donations to the performers made be made during the event. Parking is to the left when facing the library from Washington Street. Enter by the "Special Events" door to the left of the columns, midway into the parking area.

First of all, the intersection improvements are scheduled for the upcoming years and they are not related to Westwood at all.
The plaza on 109 where the Post Office is located would be a prime site for a modern development. It is a relic from the 1950#. Why haven’t the town planners sought a project for that location?
This is Route 1, the most heavily commercialized corridor in the region, and calling this an “existential threat” isn’t based in reality.
