This week we're heading out for Section 3 of the Boston Walking City Trails route which goes from Jamaica Pond to the Harvard Bridge and through a significant portion of Frederick Law Olmsted's "emerald necklace." Here are the details:

  • What: 6.1 mile city hike (easier than a 6.1 mile trail hike)
  • Where: We'll meet at the Jamaica Pond Park (where we left off last time) and finish at the Harvard Bridge. For our Après hike we can head over to the Bebop on Boyleston for some Gypsy Jazz and refreshments.
  • When:
We'll be looking to depart from Jamaica pond around 9:00 am and finish
around noon-ish. If you're looking to park in Boston. Please let me
know and we'll plan to meet there at 8:30 and Bob D. will shuttle
    us to the Pond.
  • Water: Bring 1-2 liters
  • Weather: Mostly Cloudy with a high around 55

Please call me if my logistics are unclear. — Rich [617-880-9335]
