WestwoodWinds Community Band will be hosting its free, annual, family-friendly summer concert on  under the open sky, so bring your chairs or blankets for seating! In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held inside the high school’s cafeteria. 

This year’s theme will be a Mediterranean medley, with a variety of fun and lively pieces from Spain, Italy, and England, including, but not limited to: Carmen Prelude, Tico Tico, Lincolnshire Posy. El Gato Montes, Rio Grande, El Porompompero, and La Cucaracha.

WestwoodWinds’s membership includes musicians from Westwood, neighboring communities and states. Most have connections to Westwood either as a WHS graduate or as a current resident. The age of the band members ranges from early teens to retirees, and the skill level covers amateurs through semi-professionals.
