This summer, historic Powisset Farm invites visitors to its 109-acre property for its Thursday Summer Sunsets series. The events will occur one Thursday a month throughout the summer, on June 25, July 23 and August 13, from 5:30 to 8:00PM.
Thursday Summer Sunsets offer a unique opportunity for all ages to savor the idyllic evening moments of summer, with music from local musicians, and great food and drink, all in an authentic farm setting – the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
In addition to live music from local musicians and food including wood-fired pizza, visitors will discover a variety of summer activities to enjoy, including lawn games, walking trails, and visits with the barnyard animals. All activities and parking are included in the ticket price.
Food and beverages are available for purchase. A menu of local craft beer will also be available, along with wine and non-alcoholic seltzers. Outside food and drink are not permitted.
Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets, as picnic table seating is limited.
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged but not required. Tickets may be purchased upon arrival at the farm or in advance at thetrustees.org/powissetevents. The cost is Adult Member: $12; Member Child: $9; Nonmember Adult: $20; Nonmember Child: $15; Children 3 and under are free.
Please note that dogs and bicycles are not allowed on the property.

You're raising cattle on the land you could be utilizing for vegetables? Land that's more valuable (ROI) to growing vegetables vs. having insufficient land for raising enough cattle to make a go (profit) for your "passion". Not following.
