Back to school on Wednesday, August 30th, was an exciting day in Westwood for both students and Westwood Public Schools' (WPS') new superintendent, Timothy Piwowar.  Superintendent Piwowar started at WPS on July 1st, taking over from Emily Parks.

Piwowar greeted students as they reported to class on their first day of the fall semester. He spent time at each of the district's seven schools, speaking with students and visiting classrooms.

Enjoy the photos below, which offer a peek into a new start for students, the district, and their superintendent.
