This weekend through Monday presents a handful of activities for the civic-minded:

  • On Saturday, Westwood residents can help the environment by taking the opportunity to recycle items that are hard to dispose of at Westwood Recycling Day.
  • On Sunday, all interested members of the public are invited to a Town Hall with Westwood Police to discuss recent crimes against the Asian community in Westwood and the surrounding community.
  • On Monday, it's Westwood's Annual Town Meeting, during which town residents will vote on the town's tax and spending proposals, along with new mixed-used and multi-family housing residential areas proposed in Article 21.

Also happening this weekend and beyond are a 3D animated film at the Christa McAuliffe Center's planetarium, the Needham Open Studios art event, and music at the Fallout Shelter.
