Things To Do around Westwood This Weekend: Saturday, August 10th to Sunday, August 11th (UPDATED)

Cost-conscious consumers will love this weekend of free entertainment options plus the exemption from paying sales tax on many retail items. It's the Massachusetts Sales Tax Holiday, when shoppers can save on purchases of $2,500 or less by being relieved of the obligation to pay sales tax on many eligible items.  Also, for entertainment, take advantage of free admission at Pilgrim Hall Museum and a free outdoor concert in Newton.

With all that money saved, consider giving a little back. University Station shopping center is collecting donations of back-to-school items, as part of its annual school supply drive.
