On Saturday morning, March 28, a reported estimate of over 200 local residents in Westwood lined High Street near Gay Street, as part of the coordinated day of "No Kings" demonstrations, one of approximately 3,300 planned events that same day, nationwide.

This latest protest attracted over 8 million people across the nation, according to event organizers - the largest gathering of the movement so far. It follows nationwide No Kings demonstrations last year on June 14 when the movement launched and October 18.

Participant numbers on October 18, 2025 were reported to be almost 7 million.
National organizers have advised participants to avoid partisan language and personal attacks. They have also encouraged participants to engage in nonviolent and lawful protest.
