Along with Westwood's No Kings demonstration, similar events were also planned for nearby Medfield, Needham, and Dedham, Canton, Walpole, as well as Sherborn, Wellesley, and Newton.

This latest protest attracted over 8 million people across the nation, according to event organizers - the largest gathering of the movement so far. It follows nationwide No Kings demonstrations last year on June 14 when the movement launched and October 18.

On June 14, 2025, organizers reported that more than 5 million people participated from over 2,000 locations. Participant numbers on October 18, 2025 were reported to be almost 7 million

National organizers have advised participants to avoid partisan language and personal attacks. They have also encouraged participants to engage in nonviolent and lawful protest.
