MIAA continues mask requirement during indoor play

Today, November 23, 2021, the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association sent a memo to member schools to notify them that the winter masking policy will require masks indoors.

MIAA states that when winter season begins on Monday, November 30, 2021 "Student-athletes, coaches and officials that are indoors shall be masked."

The indoor mask requirement continues MIAA's policy from the fall. However, MIAA notes that it will "push for a transition to un-masking during athletic [competition] within the fall season."
