Newsies follows charming newsboy Jack Kelly as he leads his fellow newsboys in a strike against powerful newspaper publishers who have raised distribution prices, igniting a city-wide fight for fair wages and better working conditions. Sheehan School’s Newsies promises to be a show filled with heart, energy, and an undeniable sense of teamwork. [more details]
UCC Medfield
In this free workshop that is open to all ages, participants will design and decorate their own lantern to take home. Materials will be provided. Then, in the fall, you'll be prepared to participate in the Lantern Festival and Parade, if you so choose! [more details]
Blue Hills Regional Technical School
Members of the Rhododendron Needlers Quilt Guild (RNQG) will display 150 quilts at the 40th anniversary celebration of the guild.
Quilts will be on display on Saturday, April 5th from 10 AM to 5 PM and on Sunday, April 6th from 10 AM to 4 PM. [more details]
Powers Hall at Needham Town Hall
The 2nd Annual Dirty Water Festival benefits non-profit Plugged In Band, which provides inclusive programs for musicians of all skill levels and abilities. From 6 PM to 10 PM listen to live music of Boston bands and enjoy a large dance floor, cash bar, sandwiches and desserts. [more details]

On April 5th and April 6th, from 11 AM to 5 PM each day, the public is invited to view and shop the work of local artists while gaining insight to their creative processes, in both indoor and outdoor settings, at various locations through Newton's 13 villages. [more details]

Stop by the Christa McAuliffe Center between 7:45 PM to 9:00 PM. Participants of all ages are welcome!
