Sunday, March 26th Deadline for Community Feedback on WPS Superintendent Candidates (UPDATED)

Westwood School Committee meets virtually on Monday, March 27th at 6:00 p.m. to vote on a new superintendent for Westwood Public Schools, and the community has an opportunity to provide feedback on those candidates to School Committee through noon on Sunday, March 26, 2023.  An online form to submit feedback for each of the three candidates is available online here. 

The School Committee scheduled a community forum and public interview for each of the three finalist candidates, available for viewing on the Superintendent Search Committee web page under "Candidate Interviews with School Committee." The candidates are listed below, with links to their recorded interviews along with recorded or livestream community forums: 

• Ian P. Kelly, Interim Superintendent of Dedham Public Schools

• Rebecca H. Kidwell, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment & Professional Development of Rockland Public Schools

Updated 3/24/2023 at 7:09 p.m. The deadline for feedback was mistakenly stated in School Committee's initial communication to be "Sunday, March 25th." School Committee has indicated that the correct deadline for feedback should be "Sunday, March 26th." Additionally, the date for School Committee's upcoming meeting was stated to be "Monday, March 26th" but instead should be "Monday, March 27th." This article has been updated accordingly.
