Things To Do around Westwood This Weekend and Beyond: Friday, January 31st to Wednesday, February 5th

On Saturday, Westwood Chinese School celebrates the Lunar New Year and invites the community along for the fun. Also, Westwood Environmental Action Committee's Repair Cafe returns, offering free fixes for broken goods. And those who brave the cold outdoors can find the rewards of nature on a guided hike with Westwood Community Trails.

On Sunday, get a personalized poem written on the spot for you by Westwood's Poet Laureate and Youth Poet Laureate. In the evening, check out Needham Community Theatre's telling of the story Mystery Manor and the founder of the National Negro Opera Company.

Next week, Town of Westwood officials hold a public information session on the proposed design and construction for a new Fire Station 1, and Westwood Artists hold a reception for their annual gallery exhibit at Westwood's Main Library.
