Westwood Resident is Named Captain of Endicott Women's Cross Country Team

Cate Herndon of Westwood has been named captain of the Women's Cross Country team at Endicott College in Boston, the school announced at the end of last month.

She will captain the team alongside two other captains - Hannah Risko from Albany, New York and Catherine Schultz from North Kingston, Rhode Island.

Last year, the Endicott Gulls placed fourth in the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship and 13th of 35 teams at the NCAA Division III East Regionals Championship.

Ms. Herndon is a junior, majoring in Liberal Studies/Education. In 2022, she was named to the CCC Academic All-Conference. She is a graduate of Westwood High School.

  • September 1st, 5:15 p.m. I "Battle of the North Shore" 
  • September 16th, 11:30 a.m. I Pop Crowell Invitational
  • October 14th I Suffolk Invitational
  • October 28th I CCC Championship (at Gordon)
  • November 11th I NCAA DIII East Regionals (at Franklin Park)
