Westwood Little League 12 Year Old Team Clinches Semi-Final Spot, Plays Ashland Tonight

Westwood Little League's 12 year old team has clinched a spot in the semi-finals of the Williamsport Tournament for District 11, Westwood Little League announced last evening. The team will play Ashland in Canton tonight, Friday, July 16, 2021.

WLL says that following a few tie-breakers yesterday evening, the Westwood team has moved up from 4th seed to 3rd seed. The team has a 5-3 record.

The public is invited to cheer on the hometown team in tonight's semi-final game against Ashland. The game will be played at 5:30 p.m. at Crawford Field, 100 Dedham Street in Canton.

If Westwood wins District 11, the team will advance to play for the Sectional Championship of this international tournament. At the end of the entire tournament is a World Championship game.
