Things To Do around Westwood This Weekend and Beyond: Thursday, March 19 to Thursday, March 26

Image

Live music, spring activities and family programs, along with a gala night out -- there are so many ways to step into the new season, locally around Westwood this weekend and beyond!

Plug into end-of-week entertainment with a free open mic night on Thursday, or celebrate spring with your choice of a hike in Westwood or Medfield.

The outdoors are not just for adults, but Little Sprouts as well, who can enjoy a five-senses garden walk, storytime, and a hands-on craft or activity next week.

If indoor entertainment is what you're looking for, settle down and enjoy live music in a coffeehouse setting this Saturday at Open Book Coffeehouse, or in the studio-club setting of The Fallout Shelter next Thursday.

Also next Thursday evening is Westwood Community Chest's Gala of Giving. This year, it will offer virtual horse racing, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and items for auction in a Blue Ribbon Derby-themed event.

Westwood Public Library ensures that children aren't left out of the fun on Thursday evening, with a costume-optional Fantastical Fairytale Night at the Library.

There's even something for the more academically minded, with an in-person book discussion with author Ieva Jusionyte in Norwood and the TEC College Fair at Westwood High School, on Tuesday and Wednesday next week, respectively.
