Poke Bros. has opened in Westwood, offering a fast, casual dining experience that specializes in fresh fish in Hawaiian-style poké bowls for lunch, dinner, or a healthy snack, according to an announcement on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 by University Station, home to the chain's new location.
The restaurant will allow customers to "build your own" poké bowl from a variety of diverse ingredients, such as cubed fish alongside fresh-cut vegetables and traditional flavorings on a bed of steamed rice. The menu offers an alternative to fast-food options that can often be fried.
"Most fast-food options out there are the same, old, fried food. We're proud that Poke Bros. gives people something that's quick and easy for lunch or dinner but with fresh, healthy ingredients and great flavor," says Poke Bros. founder Xue Gong Chen.
After first opening in December 2016, Poke Bros. has expanded to a chain of 72 locations in 13 states. The Westwood location is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
