With Winter Coming, Federal Government Offers the Public Another Round of Free COVID-19 Test Kits

Beginning November 20, 2023, each U.S. household can place an order for 4 free, at-home COVID-19 test kits from the United States Postal Service at https://special.usps.com/testkits. Additionally, for households that have not yet ordered test kits since the program reopened on September 25, 2023, a second order of 4 free, at-home COVID-19 test kits is available. Orders will ship for free, beginning the week of November 27, 2023.

The offer of free COVID-19 test kits comes as federal officials seek to prepare residents for a possible higher incidence of COVID-19 in the winter months.
