Fans of the Celtic and Irish music: mark your calendars now for Saturday evening, April 15. On that evening, Boston’s Erin Og, a Celtic trio, comes to the Open Book Coffeehouse in Canton. 

Doors open at 6:45 p.m.; music starts at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $15 for the general public and $8 for students of any age. Tickets are available that evening only on a first come, first serve basis. Cash and checks are accepted.

Boston's Erin Og are a nationally known Irish ballad band, making their mark from Las Vegas to Times Square, having shared billing with such legends as the Wolfetones, Andy Cooney, Bagatelle, Johnny McAvoy in festivals and other special events. The band specializes in all aspects of Irish/Celtic folk/rock music, from rousing rebel and drinking songs, jigs and reels to soulful ballads and dance.

The band is comprised of Bobby Mullis on vocals, guitar, and tin whistle, Stephen Gill on vocals, bass, guitar, and harmonica, and Stuart Peak on vocals, mandolin, banjo, guitar, and bass.

Enjoy the relaxing, warm atmosphere of friendly people, good music, coffee, tea, and home baked goodies. 

 The Open Book Coffeehouse is located in the community room of the Canton Public Library and is made possible by the Friends of the Library. Parking is to the left when facing the library from Washington Street. Enter by the "Special Events" door to the left of the columns, midway into the parking area.
