The WHS Girls Lacrosse program achieved back-to-back wins in the state final for the past two years.

In 2021, the Wolverines won with a goal in the last 20 seconds, beating Franklin with a score of 6-5.

Last year, they won handily with a score of 16-1 over Wellesley.

Now, the number 3 seed Wolverines will face the number 1 seed Lincoln-Sudbury in another state final. Given weather considerations, Saturday's noon match at Babson College has been moved to the rain date of Sunday, June 17, 2023.

Updated June 16, 2023 at 12:46 p.m. Sunday's rain date has been added.
