Norfolk County Sheriff McDermott Hosts First Annual Sheriff’s Cup Youth Hockey Tournament (Updated)

DEDHAM MA – Sheriff Patrick W. McDermott and the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting the first annual Sheriff’s Cup Youth Hockey Tournament starting Wednesday, February 21st. The double elimination tournament features Squirt hockey teams from around Norfolk County and the surrounding areas culminating in a championship game on Friday, February 23rd.

Sheriff McDermott and the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard will kick off the tournament with an opening ceremony on Wednesday February 21st at 8:30 a.m. The tournament is in partnership with Quincy Youth Hockey and will take place at the Quincy Youth Hockey Arena, 60 Murphy Memorial Drive, Quincy.

The schedule for the tournament is as follows:

Wednesday, February 21st 

8:30 a.m.  Opening Ceremonies

9:00 a.m.  Quincy 2 vs. Norwood

10:10 a.m.  Quincy 1 vs. Hyde Park

11:20 a.m.  Norwood vs Marshfield

12:30 p.m. Weymouth vs. Milton

1:40 p.m.  Quincy 2 vs. Marshfield 

2:50 p.m.  Quincy 1 vs. Weymouth

Thursday, February 22nd 

9:00 a.m.  Hyde Park vs. Weymouth

10:10 a.m.  Quincy 1 vs. Milton

11:20 a.m.  Marshfield vs. Norwood

12:30 p.m.  Milton vs. Hyde Park

1:40 p.m.  Quincy 2 vs Marshfield

Friday, February 23rd

8: 30 a.m.  A/B Team 1 vs. A/B Team 4

10:00 a.m.  A/B Team 2 vs. A/B Team 3

12:00 p.m. & 2:30 p.m.  Finals
