Upcoming: Two Community-Wide Events in Early April

Westwood area residents are invited to two free, community-wide events coming up in the first week of April. 

Westwood Poet Laureate Lynne Viti has announced that the Third Annual Town-Wide Poetry Reading  and Open Mic will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at Westwood Public Library at 660 High Street. Featured poets will Be Heather Corbally Bryant and the Tuesday Evening Poets: Avi Glaser, Johanna Herren, Debra David, Marilyn Gove, Mike Dwyer, Jan Kimsey, Brian Mich, Elizabeth Johnston, and Sherri Stepakoff.

For those who missed the first day of community tours at Westwood's recently opened elementary school, there is a second chance to see the new facilities. Westwood  Public Schools has announced that community tours of Pine Hill School at 790 Gay Street will be run on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. 

Both events are open to members of the public.
