Rain on Friday has forced some changes, but need not dampen plans! Westwood High School juniors and seniors show off their fancy dress at an indoor Promenade this Friday afternoon. Also indoors is Needham Community Theatre's production of Little Women.

On Saturday, there's a pop up sale featuring Westwood Artists and a plant sale at Dedham's historic Fairbanks House, just in time for last-minute Mother's Day gifts.

For the civic minded, Westwood Democratic Caucus, open to any Westwood resident registered as a Democrat or Independent, elects its delegates to the MassDems Convention. You can also visit Westwood Fire Station's open house or celebrate the Town of Walpole at Walpole Day.

Speaking of celebrations, Westwood Public Library celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month with a free showing of My Neighbor Totoro, a G-rated animated film by Hayao Miyazaki.

Looking ahead to next week, on Monday, Westwood Girl Scouts holds a Try Girl Scouts event at their Scout House. On Wednesday, Mass Book Award-Honoree Francisco X. Stork, author of I Am Not Alone! gives a talk at Dedham Public Library. And on Thursday, Westwood Public School student musicians perform in their spring orchestra concert.
